Dr. Audrey Smock Amoah, Guest of Honour at this year’s PETROSOL Platinum Energy 2026 Women in Leadership Conference has commended the company for setting up this platform for yearly deliberations about women inclusivity.
She encouraged women to seek reliable support amid challenges, praising Petrosol Women’s Network (PWN) platform for advancing empowerment conversations.
The fifth annual event, organized by PWN to coincide with International Women’s Day, in Accra under the main theme, “Investing in Women: Transforming Communities Exponentially.” It drew dynamic leaders from the petroleum downstream sector, fostering female empowerment in leadership and decision-making roles.
Dr. Stella Agyenim-Boateng, who chaired the conference, highlighted Women’s vital role in PETROSOL’s future. “We are significant members of Society who hold the legacy for the next generation,” she affirmed, framing The gathering as a powerhouse assembly beyond just female employees.

PETROSOL’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Michael Bozumbil, honoured outstanding female staff for their dedication and contributions. “You have been phenomenal. The impact of female staff on PETROSOL’s growth has been significant from day one,” he stated, reinforcing the company’s commitment to uplifting women.
Experts like Ama Duncan (Founder, Fabulous Women Network), Gideon Mankralo (National Project Coordinator, International Labour Organization), and Kezia Sanie Kermah (Lawyer/Founder, For the Future Organization) emphasized investing in women as key to sustainable community development during the panel discussion.
The 2026 Women in Leadership Conference concluded by reaffirming PETROSOL’s commitment to championing gender equality and equity within Ghana’s petroleum industry, while highlighting the company has continued investment in empowering women as a catalyst for the exponential growth and transformation of communities.
