The Ghana Police Service has declared Kumawood actress Patricia Osei Boateng wanted in connection with an armed robbery case that claimed the life of Andrews Amankwa at Ohwim Tigo Junction in Kumasi.

Four suspects have so far been arrested as investigations into the fatal shooting continue.

According to details circulating online, the actress is married to a suspected robbery gang leader known as Duku, who was allegedly involved in the attack. Police say Duku was shot dead during an exchange of gunfire with officers after the robbery. Patricia is believed to have aided him, reportedly helping him pose as a nurse to evade police checks. She is also alleged to have travelled to Dubai after some of the incidents.

Briefing the public on the case, Inspector-General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno stated that a special investigative team was formed immediately after the crime was reported. A major breakthrough came with the arrest of a suspect found with the deceased’s Samsung mobile phone, as efforts continue to track down Patricia Osei Boateng.
