Police Ladies head coach Abu Kassim has called for major financial support for womens football in Ghana.Speaking ahead of their crucial clash with Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Kassim stressed that more must be done to develop the womens game in the country.”Women’s football is very needy it is an area that a lot of people are not following if you go outside the country even Tanzania just here investments they have done in their women’s football is not a small thing. Recently they have come and hired one of our best coaches Yusif Basigi important brain and he is helping them there,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com “We need support for the women you cant just leave everything for the FA the money is small everybody d come on board. They should probably adopt the teams probably every month they will come and help the team on a constant basis and if they support women’s football it will help very much,” he added.Police Ladies face Ampem Darkoa in the Womens Premier League final on May 18 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
