Matchweek 15 of the Premier League promises high drama across the country as title contenders, top-four hopefuls and relegation-threatened sides lock horns in a weekend packed with decisive encounters on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

League leaders Aduana FC will look to consolidate their position at the summit when they host fourth-placed Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park. The Fire Club have regained momentum and boast one of the league’s strongest home records, remaining unbeaten at Dormaa this season. Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, arrive with the league’s best defensive record and impressive away form but face a stern test against an Aduana side they have failed to beat ,or even score against, in their last five league visits to Dormaa.

In Tamale, Karela United will rely on their formidable home form when they welcome struggling Vision FC to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium. Karela are unbeaten at home this season and will be confident of bouncing back after last weekend’s defeat. Vision FC, winless in six matches and yet to secure an away victory, face mounting pressure as they continue their battle to climb away from danger.

At the Nsenkyire Sports Arena, FC Samartex 1996 will seek a return to winning ways against Heart of Lions, who have slipped from the title race following a run of four winless matches. Samartex remain one of the league’s strongest home sides, while Lions will be desperate to rediscover their spark on the road as they chase a second away win of the season.

Strugglers collide at the Tuba AstroTurf as Dreams FC host Berekum Chelsea in a crucial relegation six-pointer. Dreams boast an impressive home record and remain unbeaten at Tuba this season, while Chelsea continue to search for their first away win. With both sides hovering just above the drop zone, the outcome could have major implications at the bottom of the table.

At the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Nations FC will aim to arrest their inconsistency when they face an improving Young Apostles side fresh from ending a five-game winless run. Nations have been strong at home this season, but Young Apostles arrive with renewed confidence and ambitions of pushing into the top four.

Finally, newly promoted Hohoe United welcome defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars FC in a fascinating encounter at the Hohoe Sports Stadium. Hohoe will look to bounce back after last weekend’s setback, while Gold Stars, struggling on the road, will be eager to end their poor away run and climb back toward the top four.
