President-elect whose work officially starts after today as the president, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has made his first appointment.
Ahead of his inauguration many people are in anticipation of, the office of the president-elect has shared a communique.
The communique dated January 6 and signed by a special aide, Felix Ofosu Kwakye makes it known that the president has made some new appointments.
The president-elect appointed 7 persons to the office of the president.
The list includes Julius Debrah as the Chief of staff, Dr. Callistus Mahama as the executive secretary to the president, Prosper Douglas Bani as the head of the interim security taskforce, and Dr. Valerie Sawyerr as the senior presidential advisor, Governmental Affairs.
The communique goes on to add that, Augustus Gosie Tannoh has been appointed as the presidential advisor, responsible for 24-hour economy and accelerated export development.
The communique concludes with Marrietta Agyeiwaa Brew appointed as the legal counsel to the president, and Honorable Felix Kwakye Ofosu as the Ag spokesperson to the president.
