President John Dramani Mahama has held a strategic Presidential Dialogue with key players in Ghana’s private sector, urging stronger collaboration to accelerate economic growth and national development.
Speaking at the engagement at Jubilee House, the President emphasised the need for bold and practical partnerships between government and business leaders to reposition Ghana as a leading production and trade hub in West Africa.
“We must work to make Ghana West Africa‘s production hub,” President Mahama stated, encouraging businesses to take advantage of Ghana’s position as host of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat.
He noted that the presence of the Secretariat offers a strategic opportunity to expand intra-African trade, deepen industrialisation, and strengthen regional competitiveness.
The President called on industry leaders to scale up production, invest in value addition, and explore new markets across the continent under the AfCFTA framework. He stressed that sustained economic transformation would depend on innovation, export
