Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed his strong desire to win the FA Cup, a trophy that has eluded him throughout his coaching career.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face lower-tier side, True Democracy in the quarterfinals on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the crucial clash, Narteh Ogum emphasized his determination to clinch the title, as it remains the only major domestic trophy missing from his achievements.
This competition is a very important one for me. Ive never won it before coaching other Premier teams like Dwarfs, WAFA, even the first time I came to Kotoko and we won the league, we couldnt make it beyond the first round, so its very dear to my heart.”Ive been able to coach to win the league before but the FA Cup Ive not been able to do that, so its a motivation for me,” he added.
The highly anticipated match is set to kick off at 19:00 GMT.
