It was a colourful Kente Edition at this year’s Rhythms On Da Runway event as industry players and fashion enthusiasts thronged the Grand Arena to witness creativity.

The 12th edition of Rhythms On Da Runway told the African fashion story colossally.

The programme started with some pomp and pageantry on the green carpet where patrons fraternised with each other amidst drinks and photo opportunities against rattling artistic backdrops.

Kwanpa with their stupendous display welcomed everyone into the main auditorium for a showdown.

Poet, Apiokor set the ball rolling with intriguing Kente poetry describing the significance of the country’s heritage and how it must be revered.

Through the instrumentality of the two moderators on the night, Jerry Adjorlolo and AJ Akuoko Sarpong, the night packed with activities sparked off in style.

Patrons witnessed exquisite designs adorned by top models who briskly demonstrated their catwalk finesse on the humongous runway.

The designers who exhibited their creations on the runway included, Ophelia Crossland, Velma’s Millinery and Accessories, Yaws Creation, Selina Beb, Odefille, Milkwhite Apparel, Masantewaa, and Kustom Look Clothier,

This was interspersed with performances from Edem, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Kwabena Kwabena, Michael Stuckey, Bibie Brew, Asabea Cropper and Kenteman.

The whole auditorium went agog when the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy made a surprise appearance on the runway.

During his performance, Stonebwoy preached peace before, during and after the 2024 Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

On the night, Agya Koo Nimo, Chief Dele Momodu, Bibie Brew and Kwabena Kwabena were honoured for their invaluable contributions to the creative arts industry.

Since its inception in 2010, Rhythms On Da Runway has stood as a beacon of unity, fusing the vibrant forces of African fashion and music to exalt the limitless talent on the continent.
