Business mogul and CEO of Quick Angels Limited, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye, has announced plans to launch a nationwide food relief initiative that will offer one free hot meal a day to anyone in need.

The project, under the RNAQ Foundation, will establish Food Banks across the country, safe spaces where people can walk in and eat for free every single day.

Announcing the initiative in a Facebook post sighted by Ghana Weekend, Quaye explained that his motivation stems from a childhood conviction that no one should ever have to go hungry.

“Growing up, I believed one thing deeply: no one should ever go hungry. Now that I’m in a position to help, I’ve made it my mission to give every Ghanaian access to food, one community at a time,” he wrote.

The first locations are expected to open soon, with plans to scale up to more communities over time.

“As long as God gives me strength, we’ll keep expanding,” he added.

The initiative, championed under the hashtags #FoodBank #EatForFree #RNAQFoundation, has already sparked public admiration, with many describing it as a much-needed intervention in the face of rising food insecurity.
