FC SamartexBusiness Development manager of FC Samartex, Paul Anyaba has admitted his outfit cannot defend the Ghana Premier League title.The Timber Giants made history last season by clinching the Premier League for the first time, overthrowing Medeama Sporting Club.Samartex have been inconsistent with their performance this season and are currently 9th on the league standings after 25 matches.Speaking in an interview, the young football administrator affirmed his outfit cannot secure the Premier League title this season.Im a realist, sometimes you need to look at all the factors and admit to reality. Looking at the position of Kotoko, Goldstars, Hearts of Oak and all the dynamics, I think that we have to play and get a respectable position and rather focus on next season he said.Samartex will travel to face the embattled Legon Cities in matchday 27 of the Ghana Premier League campaign on Sunday.The Timber Giants will be hoping to upset the Royals at their own backyard as the team aim to finish on a high in the top-flight.
