Samuel Amo-Ameyaw provided a clever assist that decided the game as Strasbourg beat Aberdeen 1-0 in the Conference League.The English-Ghanaian midfielder started and played the full 90, linking play and probing down the right. His through ball split Aberdeens defence and sent Martial Godo through to finish calmly into the centre of the net. Fans at the stadium applauded the calmness in his touch and the timing of the pass.Strasbourg looked composed from the first whistle. They pressed in numbers, closed down space and forced mistakes. Mike Penders in goal made a couple of smart saves to keep the lead. Aberdeen tested the visitors late on with corners and busy tails of attack but could not find the equaliser.Samuel completed the most dribbles and kept the tempo high, riding challenges and feeding team mates. His energy helped Strasbourg control midfield after the break.
