English-Ghanaian striker Sean Adarkwa delivered a decisive performance as Wealdstone FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Brackley Town FC at Grosvenor Vale in the National League.

Adarkwa opened the scoring in the 31st minute, finishing calmly after a well-worked move initiated by Micah Obiero to hand the hosts a deserved lead. The forward’s physical presence and intelligent movement caused persistent problems for the Brackley defence.

The Stones strengthened their grip on the contest midway through the second half when Nathan Tshikuna doubled the advantage. Brackley responded on 78 minutes through Morgan Roberts to set up a tense finale, but Wealdstone held firm to claim all three points.

Adarkwa, who was substituted in the 62nd minute after an industrious display leading the line, continues to impress in the 2025/26 campaign. The goal takes his tally to four in 17 National League appearances this season.

Wealdstone will now shift focus to the FA Trophy, where they face Kidderminster Harriers FC away on Saturday, February 28, aiming to build on their recent momentum.
