The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has released the official shortlist of nominees for its 29th annual Media Awards, with a total of 36 journalists and media organisations across Ghana vying for top honours including Journalist of the Year, Best Female Journalist, Most Promising Journalist and Best Student Journalist.
The ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at the Manhyia Palace in the Ashanti Region under the patronage of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The theme for the celebration is “Safeguarding Ghana’s Future: The role of the media in promoting peace, security and the fight against galamsey.”
