Semper Fi FC ended a run of seven matches without a win by defeating Golden Kick SC 4-2 at the Teshie McDan Sports Complex in the Access Bank Division One League Zone Three.The home side showed determination from the start, responding strongly to recent setbacks to secure an important result in their push for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.Sheriff Masawudu opened the scoring in the 30th minute before Kwabena Aboagye struck twice in quick succession, finding the net in the 31st and 39th minutes to give Semper Fi a commanding lead at the break. Samuel Adonteng Owusu added the fourth goal in the 56th minute to seal the victory.Golden Kick fought back through Shaban Abubakar, who scored in the 10th minute, and Joshua Fuseini, who added another in the 21st minute, but their efforts were not enough to overturn Semper Fis advantage.The win keeps Semper Fi in second place in the Zone Three standings as they continue their strong bid for promotion. After a difficult spell without a victory, the result provides renewed confidence as they look ahead to the decisive phase of the season.
