Serbian tactician, Milovan Cirkovic, has parted ways with Ashantigold after just two-and-a-half months at the club.
Cirkovic, 65, who was appointed by the Miners on November 2, 2020, has confirmed leaving the club on mutual grounds because of ill health.
“My health is not the best and have to leave,” he told Oyerepa FM. “It’s not true I’m running away from any challenges; I am not fit.
“I wish Ashantigold all the best in their future endeavors.
“I wanted to stay longer, but that’s not the case. The supporters, players, and management, I wish them well.”
His place has been taken by his assistant Thomas Duah until the club appoints a substantive coach
