Skyy FC beat leaders FC AshantiGold, UCC Youngsters shock Nsuopon Fidelity in Zone Two

Skyy FC edged past FC AshantiGold ’04 with a narrow 1-0 victory at the St. Martins Park, inflicting only AshantiGold’s second defeat of the season. Benjamin Arthur struck late to seal the win, as Skyy FC recorded their third consecutive clean-sheet victory. Despite the loss, AshantiGold remain top of the Zone Two table, while Skyy FC climb to fourth with 20 points from 12 matches.

Sefwi All Stars FC moved up to second place after a resilient 2-1 away win over former Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium in Cape Coast. Reduced to ten men in the first half, the visitors showed great character. Eric Badu opened the scoring in the 8th minute, before Samuel Owusu doubled the lead in the 74th minute with a brilliant strike. Isaac Mensah pulled one back for Dwarfs late on, but Sefwi All Stars held firm.

Newly promoted Nsuopun Fidelity dropped to third place following a shock 3-2 defeat to struggling UCC Youngsters at the Dominase Astroturf. UCC Youngsters delivered an inspired performance, with Joshua Kouho pulling the strings and earning the Player of the Match award in a memorable victory
