Stakeholders in the Akuapem South Municipality of the Eastern Region have vowed to embark on aggressive and massive educational transformative programmes to help promote and enhance academic excellence in the municipality.

The assurance came on the back of the donation of educational materials by the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Akuapem South Constituency, Eric Apeadu Yeboah, to support the 1,249 Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE candidates within the municipality.

The donation aimed at boosting the academic performance of the students during the BECE Exams.

The educational materials included mathematical sets, pens, pencils, and a cash amount of GHC10,000.00 to the Education Directorate.

Mr. Apeadu Yeboah also promised to provide lunch for the candidates throughout the exams.

He noted that teacher motivation, provision of teaching and learning materials, adequate computer labs, and educational infrastructure, among others, will be his topmost priority to help improve the standard of education within the constituency.

The Kitase Ankobeahemaa, Nana Akosua Asiedu called on all stakeholders to come on board to ensure the best and quality educational transformation within the municipality.

Nana Akosua Asiedu reiterated the need for collective responsibility in ensuring that students in the area receive the quality education they deserve.
