Ghanaian Afro-dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has been named Artiste of the Year at the 2024 3Music Awards.
In addition to taking home the top prize, the celebrated artiste also secured the awards for Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year and Album of the Year for his latest project.
The star-studded event took place at the Palm Convention Centre inside La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, celebrating Ghana’s best musical talents with electrifying performances from the likes of Nacee, Piesie Esther, Adina, Kweku Smoke, Akwaboah, Mr. Drew, Lyrical Joe and others.
Stonebwoy, known for hits like “Manodzi,” faced stiff competition for the top prize, with artistes such as Sarkodie, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, and Black Sherif also vying for the title. When his name was called, the auditorium erupted in applause and cheers.

Although Stonebwoy could not attend the event, renowned music producer Mix Master Garzy accepted the award on his behalf. Garzy also thrilled fans by announcing that Stonebwoy is set to release a new album soon.
