Many football followers in the country have raised eyebrows with the appointment of controversial football chameleon Takyi Arhin to serve on the all-important disciplinary committee of the Bono Ahafo Regional Football Association.

According to a list revealed by Sunyani-based Nimdee FM Arhin has been appointed to serve on the committee along with other reputable personalities and will be responsible for discharging justice to the football fraternity within that jurisdiction.

Arhin’s ignominious commentary in the wake of the postponement of the landmark CAS verdict in the case involving the Ghana Football Association and Wilfred Osei Kwaku ‘Palmer’ placed him on a new plane in Ghanaian football arena as the media tightly scrutinised fluctuating positions between administrations.

The comments which left the controversial former Techiman XI Wonders administrator widely embarrassed and without a trace in the most despicable manner in the landscape turned out to be false.

The committee, which will be tasked to dispense justice to football in the regions, will be chaired by legal expert Ansah Ankomah while Boamah Frimpong will be his vice chair.

Members of the committee includes Inspector Bismark Twesu, Nana Boateng, S.A Dart, Nana Ofori William, Raymond Ofosuhene, Nana Boamah Darko and Stephen Ankamah Boamah as well as Takyi Arhin.

The jurisdiction of the committee will fall within the three regions which include Bono, Bono East and Ahafo.
