Tanzanian Club Young Africans have officially unveiled former Kotoko attacker Songne Yacouba as their new signing.

The striker joined the Southern African side after ending his stay with the Porcupine Warriors.

Yacouba spent two years at Kotoko and refused a contract extension at the Club after the Ghanaian side failed to meet his demands.

Yanga acquired the 28-year-old Burkina Faso International despite interests from South African side Orlando Pirates as well as Al Hilal Oumduman of Sudan.

He was unveiled to the Club’s fans shortly after arriving to complete his deal with the Club and was handed the number 10 shirt.

The former Tanzanian Champions who recently lost Ghanaian winger Bernard Morrison to rivals Simba are doing good business after signing Ghanaian forward Michael Sarpong who also left Rwandan side Rayon Sport.
