
Henry Asante TwumHenry Asante Twum has opened up on the reasons behind the recent changes to the Black Stars technical team, explaining that the Ghana Football Association based its decisions on a detailed assessment of the entire setup.The FA strengthened and reorganised the technical bench after Ghana failed to qualify for the AFCON, with preparations now focused on the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.Speaking to Peace FM, Asante Twum explained how the review was carried out and why specific changes were made.”When we did the changes when we couldn’t qualify for the afcon the FA had to access everybody’s performance and contribution that they bring to the technical team. So, when they did the analysis the ExCo did the analysis coupled with advice from the technical directorate that is led by Professor Mintah,””They saw that the changes that has to happened the then assistant coach that is Joseph Norman had to go then they decided that Paintsil move to high performance then Desmond Ofei becomes the main assistant.Gregory from Belgium the coach that came which led to us scoring from set pieces he has expertise in set pieces all his life and he is also a video analysis he became assistant two at that time.
