Serbian giants, Red Star Belgrade have bid farewell to Ghana star Osman Bukari following his transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) side Austin FC.
The Black Stars forward on Thursday, May 30, completed a switch from Red Star Belgrade to Austin FC on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
In a statement after the move, Osman Bukari took to social media to express appreciation to Red Star Belgrade and the fans, stressing that they will always hold a special place in his heart.
“To the fans, your unwavering support has been incredible. Playing in front of you has been an honor, and your cheers have always lifted my spirits, even in the toughest moments.
“This team will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish you all continued success and will be cheering for you from afar. Thank you for everything Red and whites,” Osman Bukari said.
Reacting to the statement from the player, Red Star Belgrade posted, “And you will hold a special place in our hearts. Thank YOU for everything Buka, it was a pleasure watching you play.”

During his short stint with Red Star Belgrade, Osman Bukari helped the club to win the Serbian league back-to-back.
He gave his best to the team and established himself as a fan favourite.
