Celebrated Ghanaian dancer Dancegod Lloyd has made an astonishing revelation that the deputy captain of the Black Stars Thomas Teye Partey, was his teammate.

Known in real life as Laud Anoo Konadu, Dancegod Lloyd is a co-founder of the dance school, DWPA (Dance With Purpose Academy).

Even though he is no longer a member of DWP Academy, the dance group is a well-known Ghanaian dance organization that provides instruction in various dance forms, such as hip-hop, contemporary, and Afrobeat.

He shot to fame after performing in Beyonce’s “Already” music video featuring Shatta Wale in 2020.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Channel One TV’s The Chat, Dancegod Lloyd stated emphatically that before he became a professional dancer, he was a footballer.

According to him, “ I was a footballer…Thomas Teye Partey and Moses Odjer were some of my teammates”

On why he never took football as a career, the celebrated dancer explained,” You can’t question God… Sometimes I asked myself why I couldn’t play at the professional level..but God knows best and that is what God wants for me.. Till now I question myself”.

Dancegod LIoyd is set to launch a new dance school named Dance, Grow, and Live (DGL).

Together with the new team, they have initiated several dance challenges including Kidi’s ‘Lomo Lomo’ and King Promise’s ‘Terminator’ songs. They have also performed at various events.
