The director behind Stonebwoy’s monster hit “Jejereje,” Prince Banini Jnr, better known as Banini has shared his enthusiasm for helming the music video.
Since its release, the song has taken the music scene by storm, quickly becoming a viral sensation.
As the video continues gaining popularity, it’s already touted as a strong contender for “Best Music Video of the Year” at the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
In an exclusive interview with Ekow Koomson on Channel One TV‘s “The Chat” entertainment talk show, Banini expressed his pride in the project:
” I’m proud of the video, I’m proud to have created something that is going viral” He said
Discussing his journey as a music video director, Banini revealed that he had a diverse background, beginning his career with hands-on experience and supplementing his skills through online resources and attending the Ghallywood Academy.
In addition to his work with Stonebwoy, Banini has collaborated with other prominent Ghanaian artistes like Fameye, as well as international stars like Burna Boy and Buju Banton.
