The headmistress of Swedru Secondary School is trending following the story of her awarding a student for being honest and returning a purse he found with money inside.
Golda Esi Andam, the Swesco headmistress, shared a video on Monday of her rewarding a student for being honest.
The student and a friend found a purse containing Ghc 200 and returned it to the school administration. The headmistress congregated the entire school to praise him for his honesty.
She even gifted the student Ghc 20 as a token of appreciation.
On Tuesday, she released a follow-up video showing her speaking to the boy’s mother on the phone and informing her of her son’s good deeds.
The video once again went viral, with netizens mostly amused by the headmistress’s over-the-top and dramatic antics.
