Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is proud of his teammates following the incredible form of the team which has kept them in the title race all season.

The 2004/05 Premier League champions are on a mission to win their 14th title this season after failing on many occasions in previous seasons.

The Gunners are five points clear of Manchester City on the league table after winning their last five league games, the most recent of which was a 3-0 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Thomas Partey was full of praise for the players citing their quality as a factor in Arsenal’s resurgence.

“I feel really grateful to be part of the team with all these players and the quality we have I think we earn the right to play like this.

“We started the game very well and we were able to score first and also keep going and at the end you know when you work harder you will know what you need and you will be able to achieve that,” said Partey.

The 29-year-old added that the team’s efforts can be doubled and their incredible form extended to the UEFA Europa League.

“Well, I think we have to work harder. We have to earn the right to win every game so that’s what we are going to do.

“We have to keep working hard. Keep doing our things right and we will be able to win it.”

Arsenal will play Sporting CP at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday in a bid to advance to the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals.

The first leg ended 2-2 in Lisbon last week.
