Tinny reveals how he prophesied on Shatta Wale to be Bigger than Bob Marley before their 2004 collabo (Video)


Ghanaian heavy weight Ga rapper widely known with his stylish rap as Tinny, has revealed how he prophesied on his colleague artiste Shatta Wale, before shooting  up to fame in 2004 with their hit single “Bandana from Ghana”, which made tremendous hits on the Ghanaian airwaves.

Speaking on ‘Central Dryve’ on Radio Central on Wednesday , Tinny said his soul feels great anytime he sees the SM boss climbing higher and higher in the Ghanaian, African and the world music ladder.

According to him, before Shatta Wale shot up to fame, people around him marveled any time he started to talk about his creativity.

I was the one who played and sent his music to other colleague musicians, DJs and presenters way back before 2004″.

Before we recorded the ‘Moko Hoo’ song, I told him he will not be like Bob Marley who became a legend after his death. I told him he will be a legend before he dies,  so he should continue working hard,”  he said.

The Aletse rapper also took a swipe about why he is not well heard on lots of songs recently. He made it known that, no one remain a king forever, but he is still working very hard to release his next album dubbed “Regular Champion Volume 1″ which features artistes such as Tee Phlow, Kidi, Samini, and host of other great artistes early next year.
