TV3 Mentor exposed me to a drug baron from East Legon – Andy Odarky alleges[Video]

Hiplife artiste Odarky Andy has revealed that TV3’s reality show, Mentor exposed him to a drug baron from East Legon in Accra.

Tv3 Mentor was one of the most iconic talent shows from back in the day as it was watched by most Ghanaians.

The show was one of the first music-oriented reality shows in Ghana. The first edition of Mentor began in 2006, unearthing some wonderful talents in Ghana part of the maiden edition of popular reality show Mentor in 2006.

Speaking in an interview on Okay FM about some of the challenges he is facing for being famous after contesting in the reality show, Andy who was part of Mentor 1 edition stated that he was contacted by the alleged drug baron after getting his number from TV3.

He divulged that after several meetings, the man opened up to him about the luxury that awaited him did not mention what exactly he wanted him to do.

 but“After mentor, a man approached TV3 that he wants to be my producer. He took my number and reached out to me. He said he wanted to make me travel. We met four times and all the days we met, he gave me Ghc2,000.

He used to point to luxurious cars he owns and made me aware that he can change my life.”

“the man didn’t mention what he wanted me to do but just said he wanted me to travel. From a conversation I had with his driver, I was told it’s cocaine he wants me to take to Germany.

Upon persuasion to reveal the name of the said drug baron, Andy who remained adamant said, “I can’t mention his name …but for an elderly man whose advice I sought, I would have ended up transporting cocaine and if I got caught that would have been the need for me. Being famous is challenging and pushing people into all manner of things”.
