The Ghana Premier League fixture between Medeama Sporting Club and Aduana Football Club will resume on Saturday after heavy rainfall forced officials to halt proceedings at the TnA Sports Stadium. The two sides met on Friday in a Week 22 encounter of the Ghana Premier League, with Medeama taking a narrow advantage into the break thanks to a thunderous free kick from midfielder Salim Adams.Conditions deteriorated sharply after the restart as persistent rain made the surface increasingly difficult to play on. Despite the challenges, Seidu Saana pulled Aduana level in the 70th minute to restore parity. With the downpour intensifying in the closing stages, match officials paused the contest and directed both teams back to the dressing room for safety reasons.Following an assessment, a decision was taken to resume the match on Saturday at 9 am to allow conditions to improve and ensure a fair conclusion to the fixture.
