National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Salam Mustapha, has disclosed that the popularity of the flagbearer of the party has skyrocketed than the popularity of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia exudes humility and that has endeared him to the heart of Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ show, he explained that the flagbearer of the party also carries the message of the people and that his policies are one that will help accelerate the country’s development.
In all our engagements with Ghanaians, they have come to believe that the vice president who is also the flagbearer of the party understands the needs of Ghanaians and that his policies will address the needs of Ghanaians which will intend to alleviate the hardships in the county.
We understand that times are hard in the country but we will ensure that Ghanaians suffer no more when elected to steer the affairs of the country.
He added that over the period, the NPP government despite the world pandemic that crippled the country’s economy, has worked hard enough to put the economy back on track and Dr. Bawumia is committed to ensuring that the country will not experience such hardship again.
The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been campaigning across the country to be elected president of the country.
He has engaged with the various stakeholders which include traditional rulers, religious leaders, the youth, and the entire people on his vision and policies which are the bold steps that Ghana needs to take into the future.
The policies include the establishment of a Minerals Development Bank, provision of license for small-scale miners, free tertiary education for persons living with disability, tax amnesty, flat rate at the ports, training of 1,000,000 youth in IT, harnessing of solar and wind power to reduce the high demand on electric energy, zero duty on solar panels, repositioning of Ghana’s education towards STEM and AI, one student one laptop for tertiary students, among others.
