A viral video which is circulating on social media and has stirred intense shows an aggrieved and heartbroken man and his friends storming his former girlfriend’s apartment to retrieve items he claimed to have bought for her during their relationship.

In the footage, the visibly angry ex-boyfriend and his friends are seen removing several household items from the apartment.

These included items such as chairs, tables, mattress, bed frame and even a mobile phone the man said he bought for his now ex-girlfriend.

The items were packed out of the apartment and moved outside as the incident unfolded.

The ex-girlfriend, who was present during the incident, appeared helpless and visibly shocked as her living space was stripped bare.

At one point in the video, she could be heard emotionally confronting her ex-boyfriend, asking, “Is it by force to date you?” She further questioned his actions by adding that, “Besides, what have you even done for me?”

The incident has since generated mixed reactions online. While some social media users supported the man’s actions, arguing that he was justified in reclaiming properties he paid for, others strongly criticised his approach.

Critics described the act as petty and potentially unlawful, stressing that gifts given in the course of a relationship should remain with the recipient, regardless of how the relationship ends.

As the video continues to gain traction online, it has reignited conversations around boundaries, entitlement, and the legal and moral implications of reclaiming gifts after a breakup.
