Match-day 23 of the Ghana Premier League served an exciting contest at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Stadium where Vision FC defeated Bechem United 3-2 to begin the new round of matches on a bright note.

The visitors were the first to strike after a lively start, with Augustine Okrah putting Bechem United ahead in the 27th minute. Vision FC replied almost immediately, and Sam-an Mohammed finished off a neat move two minutes later to bring the game level.

The hosts kept pressing for another goal and their persistence finally paid off just before the break when captain Sowah Adjetey found the net in the 44th minute, sending Vision FC into half-time with a 2-1 advantage.

Bechem United came out from the recess determined and scored again through Augustine Okrah in the 59th minute, completing his brace and drawing the visitors back into the contest.

The home side, however, restored their lead in the 63rd minute through Ibrahim Larbi, who reacted quickly inside the area to put Vision FC 3-2 up. From there, the hosts managed the game well and prevented Bechem from causing further trouble in attack.

The win pushes Vision FC to ninth position with 30 points as they prepare to face giants Asante Kotoko SC next. Bechem United have now dropped to 10th with 29 points and will aim to bounce back when they welcome Karela United in their next fixture.
