The Ordinary Congress of the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) comes off today – Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The event will take place at the Ho Municipal Assembly Hall, starting at 9:00 AM.
The Congress will be chaired by the RFA Chairman Daniel Agbogah and it will serve as a significant moment in the football calendar of the region, marking the official commencement of discussions for the 2024/25 season.
Executive Council member Gideon Fosu will be the special guest of honour representing the President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
Key stakeholders, including club representatives, referees, and other affiliates within the football community, are expected to be present.
The Congress aims to deliberate on essential matters that impact regional football, including administrative, developmental, and financial aspects.
In addition to launching the new season, the Congress will focus on providing a blueprint for organizing and executing various competitions across all levels.
These include youth football, women’s football, and grassroots initiatives, all aimed at enhancing football development in the Volta Region.
