Voter Registration: EC Timeline Not Workable Due To The Slow Pace In Exercise

The National Communications Director for the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi has revealed that the ongoing voter registration is in slow pace.

He explained that it takes one person about 15 to 25 minutes to register for a voter identification card at the exercise which is not good.

According to him, the slow pace will disenfranchised many people from registering within the five weeks timeline for the registration.

He indicated that the timeline announced by the Electoral Commission for the exercise will not be workable since the average time for each registration is 15 to 25 minutes.

Sammy Gyamfi stated that he has received similar reports from parts of the country with that same situation of what he has observed.
