2024/25 WAFA TEAMWest African Football Academy have secured qualification to the Division One League after winning the Volta Region Division Two Promotional playoff on Sunday, 15 June 2025.The Sogakope-based side beat Kpetoe Diamond FC 2-1 at Adaklu Youth Resource Center.to win the regional middle league final.Last season, they missed out on qualification after losing to Inter Allies in the final.Going into the final, Kpetoe Diamond FC, topped their Group with a 100% winning record while WAFA SC had seven points to top their pool.WAFA will slot into Zone 3 after previously competing in Zone 2 which had a toll on the club financially and logistically.
