Goldbod Jewellery Limited, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), has issued a public disclaimer warning Ghanaians against fraudulent schemes falsely using its name to promote unauthorised “Gold Investment Opportunities.”
In a public notice dated February 11, 2026, signed by the Media Relations Unit and endorsed by Managing Director Gertrude Emefa Donkor, the company clarified that it has no affiliation, connection, or knowledge of any investment platform or scheme operating under the guise of Goldbod Jewellery.
The notice emphasised that such representations are fraudulent and should be reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.
Goldbod Jewellery Limited stressed that its only recognised gold investment product is the Gold Tablet, which is designed as a secure and accessible means for individuals to invest in gold and preserve wealth amid currency fluctuations.
The company warned that it does not operate any other investment packages, online trading platforms, third-party gold schemes, or similar offerings and advised members of the public to purchase Goldbod Jewellery Gold Tablets exclusively through official channels, including any of its showrooms located across the country.
