Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya has botched to promise the Ghana Premier League next season.

The Porcupine Warriors faced challenges last season, finishing sixth in the domestic top-flight, where Samartex emerged as champions.

Kotoko embarked on squad overhaul following a disappointing performance last term.

Despite failing to promise the league title, the former King Faisal star says his outfit are looking forward to securing maximum points in their games.

“We can’t raise our expectations so high. We’ve seen a lot of positives in our preseason so we hope it reflects in the league”

“We can’t promise the Ghana Premier League title but we hope to secure maximum points in our games being home or away”

Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the 2024/25 campaign. They have already made it two wins in the preseason friendly games.

The Porcupine will take on Medeama on Friday as part of the inauguration of the newly built TNA Park in Tarkwa.

Kotoko will begin their Premier League campaign against Karela United.
