We don’t recognize any Ofolikwei family, but Nii Tetteh koi III as head of Nii koi Aku family – Adu otu kpono Gyasetse warned

“Nii Tetteh Koi III, the rightful heir to the Nii Koi Aku family throne, has been officially recognized by the esteemed overlords of the Ga state,( Adu Otu Kpono). As some family called Ofolikwei have begun making false claims and distorting history, prompting a stern warning from the Head of Nii Adu Otukponor.

“Any family member found guilty of spreading false information and causing discord will face the law. ‘We will not hesitate to invite the police to Bortiano to set the record straight,’ the Head of Nii Adu Otukponor cautioned.

The Gyasetsɛ (linguist) of the Adu Otu Kpono, the overlords of the Ga State, has issued a stern warning to the Ofolikwei family claiming to have installed a chief at Bortiano, saying the move is illegitimate.

According to the Gyasetsɛ, only Nii Tetteh Koi III, the recognized head of the Nii Koi Aku family, has the authority to install or dstool a chief at Bortiano, as mandated by the Adu Otol Kpono.

The warning comes after after false and a weak claims of installing a new chief at Bortiano, which had been vacant for years.

The Gyasetsɛ and the founders of Greater Akra Adu otu kpono -emphasized that any attempts to usurp the traditional processes will be met with opposition and urged the public to recognize only Nii Tetteh Koi III as the legitimate authority.

The Adu Otu Kpono has reiterated its commitment to upholding the traditions and customs of the Ga State, and any disputes will be addressed through the appropriate channels.
