Private Legal Practitioner Dan Afari Yeboah, host of one of Ghana’s most-watched educational shows ‘What Do You Know’ has disclosed that he does not own the show even after running it for 40 years.

According to him, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) is in charge of the popular quiz show which has been airing for years.

Dan-Afari Yeboah disclosed that the idea of the show was crafted and nursed by one of their staff way back and later handed the show over to a producer to continue. He disclosed the producer invited him and they discussed and arranged for the show to be aired.

When asked why he didn’t own the show after hosting it for over four decades, Dan-Afari Yeboah stated that he is a full-time lawyer who practices at the Bar and hence concentrates a lot on his career as a legal practitioner.

“This is the question people ask all the time, that you are the face of “What Do You Know” You conducted the program for close to four decades, why are you not in charge. I think one of the factors is that I am a full-time lawyer who practices at the bar”. He revealed

GBC’s quiz program ‘What do you Know’ has been one of the longest programs on Ghana Television (GTV) and therefore described as one of the oldest content on radio and television. The show has been running for over four decades by Lawyer Dan-Afari Yeboah.
