Ghanaian medical doctor and politician, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, affectionately called Napo, believes that the NDC has done nothing since assuming power.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s “Ekosii Sen” show, Napo bragged that under the Akufo-Addo government, many good initiatives were implemented, making the lives of everyday Ghanaians better.
“Under Nana Addo, we implemented a programme that allowed us to use gold to purchase oil instead of relying on dollars from the Bank of Ghana, and this led to a drop in petrol prices,” he said.
Napo noted that whatever the NDC has done after assuming power is nothing new, nor magic, in his words, said that “So there is nothing miraculous happening under the NDC; it is not magic.”
Napo questioned that “What new initiatives has the government introduced?”, disclosing that “People within the same government are now complaining that the gold used to stabilise the cedi has created problems”.
