Ghanaian socialite and actress Efia Odo has shed light on her appearance in the third season of the GH Queens reality show, describing how her faith and authenticity shape her journey both on and off screen.
In an exclusive interview with Ghana Weekend, Efia Odo—who now identifies as “Efia Odo Christ”—revealed that her decision to embrace a new path in Christ has not changed who she is but has instead made her more conscious of her mission in life.
“It doesn’t affect me in any kind of way because I’m still the same person,” she explained. “But I’m more aware of who I am and my mission here. As people, we forget that Christ has to be our head, and that means doing everything in love, with love not being selfish, but being selfless.”
She admitted that in the past, some of her actions were driven by selfish intentions, but her renewed focus on spirituality has helped her become more intentional about living in alignment with her faith.
Efia Odo also addressed one of the biggest questions surrounding her reality TV persona—whether viewers are seeing her true self or a carefully constructed character.
“No, I think people who know me know that I’m a real person. I don’t know how to hide,” she said. “That’s why people gravitate towards me, because of how authentic and unfiltered I am. What you see on TV is what you see in real life. In real life, I’m maybe a thousand times more.”
