Wife Bites Off Husband’s Nose Over Alleged Theft Of GH₵1,500

A shocking incident has left a 40-year-old man, James Batman, without his nose after his wife, Abena Dorah, bit it off during an argument over GH₵1,500. The incident happened on Friday at Gomoa Buduatta in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

According to police reports, the couple had been separated for some time. James had gone to Abena’s house to retrieve his TV, but upon returning home, Abena accused him of stealing her GH₵1,500.

An eyewitness, Fredrick Okantey, recounted the events in an interview with Adom News. He said he and James were playing cards when Abena confronted him. The confrontation escalated into a heated argument and eventually a physical fight. During the scuffle, Abena knocked James to the ground and bit off his nose.

James was rushed to the Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic for treatment, while the incident has sparked widespread disbelief in the community.
