Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has disclosed how she avoids being entangled in the controversies surrounding the entertainment industry.
The ‘Johnny’ crooner stated that she ignores people’s opinion and does not embrace them.
Speaking on the sideline of her new album, ‘Rebel Queen’ listening party in Lagos recently, Alade explained that she handles negative criticisms by simply ignoring them.
She said, “I don’t think about it [negative criticisms] too much. I’m just living my life because it’s the only one life I’ve.
“Once I see or hear anything that doesn’t resonate with me I look the other way and I keep it moving. Because everybody is entitled to their opinions.”
