Youth of Kristo Asafo (YOKA) to train over 200 of it’s member’s in Vocational skills for free


The youth of Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, in collaboration with Self Ghana, a Non Governmental agency which provides skill training and support for youth in various trades is set to provide free vocational skills training to over 200 member’s of the youth of the Christo Asafo Church.

The collaboration is an initiative by Dr. Ohene Kwabena Safo, the vice president of YOKA under the guidance of Nana Akofena Kwadwo Safo, the president of YOKA to offer free upgrading training and NVTI certification exam for at least 200 youth of Kristo Asafo.

In a short occasion to finalise the agreement between YOKA and self Ghana, the CEO of self Ghana, known as Sir. Wayner expressed his gratitude for the privilege given to him, to partner the Kantanka family in the African redemption agenda.

He later assured the National Executive Ccouncil  of YOKA that his NGO is ever ready to partner and offer any training for as many youth the youth of the church can provide.

The maiden training is in the field of construction and decoration and the participants will be trained for free as well as guided to obtain NVTI trade certificate in carpentry, tiling, electrical works, decoration, etc.

Present for the occasion were the administrator for YOKA, Mr. shadrack Nuamah, Miss linda Arthur the chancellor of YOKA ladies and the financial controller of YOKA, Mr. Gideon Agbale.
Dr. Ohene Kwabena Safo also assured self Ghana that, this collaboration will go a long way to affect the lives of many Ghanaian youth.
