2023 Rhythms on Da Runway: Check out the celebrities who graced the runway

The 2023 instalment of Rhythms on Da Runway, a harmonious blend of fashion, music, and arts, has firmly established its place on the Accra December activities calendar.

This gathering transcends diverse backgrounds, uniting individuals from the diaspora to local communities. Notably, the runway saw an impressive turnout of renowned Ghanaian celebrities.

Ghanaian hiplife artist Odartei Milla Lamptey, widely known as Gasmilla, famed for his hit song “Telemo,” graced the runway adorned in a striking Ghanaian outfit, accented with local leaves around his neck.

Akumaa Mama Zimbi, professionally recognized as Dr Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, a multifaceted Ghanaian figure in television, radio, women’s rights activism, blogging, marriage counselling, and acting, made a captivating runway appearance. She showcased a resplendent attire, complemented by her signature head scarf.

Umaru Sanda Amadu, the celebrated media personality and broadcast journalist from Citi FM/Citi TV, made a memorable impact on the runway, not once but twice, accompanied by his beautiful daughters. Beyond his vocal prowess on TV and radio, Umaru exhibited impeccable fashion sense that spoke volumes.

Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), the distinguished CEO of Nineteen 57 clothing, a media broadcaster, master of ceremonies, and the organizer of the annual Rhythms on Da Runway event, also took to the runway.

His modelling showcased remarkable made-in-Ghana outfits, adding another layer of excellence to the event.

In summary, the atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with KOD once again securing success for Rhythms on Da Runway, affirming its status as a must-attend annual spectacle.
