The 2024 Miss Tourism Ghana held a vibrant cultural night, where the ten contestants showcased traditional dances from their respective regions.
The event, held at the Accra City Hotel, was part of the competition’s judging process.
Some of the dances exhibited on the night included the Agbadza, Adowa dance, Agahu, Kpanaliumni, Kundum, Bamaya, and Kete
A panel of experts, including Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi (Deputy Director of Domestic Marketing at the Ghana Tourism Authority), Afua Pokua Afrifa (a retired business administrator), and Juliana Bempah (Principal Programme Officer at the Environmental Protection Agency), assessed the contestants’ performances.
The Miss Tourism Ghana pageant aims to promote Ghana’s rich tourism heritage and showcase the country’s diverse cultural landscape. The grand finale is set for September 20 at the National Theatre.
