Newly-promoted Port City FC will welcome Berekum Chelsea to the Daasebre Boamah Darko II Park in Kukurantumi on matchday 3 of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.Port City will be seeking their first win in the topflight after sharing the spoils on the opening day of the season against Ashantigold.Their second game of the campaign had to be postponed due to Medeama’s involvement in continental football.However, the Kukurantumi-based took advantage of the free time to engage Division Two side New Juaben FC, beating them 7-0.Meanwhile, Chelsea will travel to the East after a morale-boosting victory over Dreams FC last week. The Susubiribies bounced back from a heavy opening day defeat to Hearts of Oak.The two sides will be meeting for the first time in the top division, making it a special occasion for the newcomers.Despite being new to the Ghana Premier League, Port City have recruited experienced players, bringing former Sahel FC and Hohoe United forward Stephen Diyuo to the fold. Also in the team are talented youngsters Ransford Lartey and Dawuda Sakibu.Chelsea will rely on veteran forward Jonah Attuquaye and Abubakar Seidu for the goals.
