Haiti have been eliminated from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first nation to officially bow out of the tournament after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Brazil.
The Grenadiers endured a difficult campaign, losing their opening match to Scotland before falling to a strong Brazilian side at Lincoln Financial Field.
With two games played, the Red and Blues have failed to score a single goal while conceding four, leaving them with no chance of progressing from the group stage.
They still have one final fixture against Morocco on June 24, but the result will be purely academic as they can no longer qualify for the Round of 32.
The early exit marks a tough reality for the Caribbean nation on their return to the World Cup stage. Despite the disappointment, Haiti will be expected to give their all in their last group game as they aim to end the tournament on a respectable note.
