Liberian-Ghanaian singer, songwriter, philanthropist and entrepreneur, Irene Logan is finally set to tie the knot after experiencing several failed relationships.
In a video that has popped up online, the musician was seen having her bridal shower.
She was wearing an engagement ring and a beautiful “bride to be” white gown.
Irene and her family moved to Ghana in search of refuge from the First Liberian Civil War.
Logan gained recognition after winning the first edition of Stars of the Future in 2006.
Her debut single, “Runaway”, became a hit in Ghana. Her follow-up single, “Kabila”, also gained recognition.
She recorded the song “My Mind Dey”, which was used as the soundtrack for the film series Adams Apples.
Logan has performed with several artists, including Hugh Masakela, Lagbaja, Jay Z, and Beenie Man, among others.
In recent years, she made a transition to gospel music.
Irene’s journey to fame hasn’t been an easy one. She opened up in an interview in 2021 how she overcame several addictions.
““It put me in a world that wasn’t meant for me. It opened me up to all types of associations that led me to all types of addictions and it altered a big portion of my life,” she told Fiifi Folson, host of the show.
Despite all the challenges she faced, Irene is finally ready to walk down the aisle.
