Dreams FC head coach Winfred Dormon has admitted his side were punished for defensive mistakes after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League. The defeat marked Dreams FCs first match of the new campaign after their opening fixture against Medeama SC was rescheduled.Speaking to journalists after the match, the Dreams FC coach pointed to individual errors and poor defensive transitions as key factors behind the defeat. We came with a strategy to make sure we pick something from this game, but unfortunately, it wasnt the kind of result we got as a result of individual errors. We were sloppy, especially our defensive transitions. We didnt react too good and they punished us, Dormon said. The result leaves Dreams FC with work to do as they prepare to continue their league campaign following their delayed start to the season.Despite the disappointing opening result, Dormon remains confident in his players and believes they can respond positively in their next fixture.Dreams FC will face Bibiani Gold Stars in Matchday Three as they look to recover from the heavy defeat and get their first points of the campaign.
